CSULB Vice President of Student Affairs Talks About Mobile Crisis Units

Beth Lesen, vice president of student affairs at CSULB, spoke with Inside Higher Ed about the development of mobile crisis units to respond to mental health issues on campus instead of campus police.  Lesen said the program began this summer with the help of a $400,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
