Chair of Department of Chicano & Latino Studies Notes Importance of New Congressional Caucus Member

José F. Moreno, associate professor and chair of the Department of Chicano & Latino Studies at Cal State Long Beach, spoke with the Orange County Register about Congressional Representative Linda Sánchez as the first woman to lead the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ campaign arm. Professor Moreno said he hoped Sánchez’s election is an indication and recognition of the social needs of her district and others like it.
