CSULB Sociology Professor Explains Why "Free Shipping" Isn't Free

Jake Alimahomed-Wilson, a sociology professor at California State University Long Beach and co-editor of “The Cost of Free Shipping: Amazon in the Global Economy," spoke on CNBC about the impact of free shipping on delivery drivers. He points out that delivery of items is mostly done by workers that don't work directly for the company, don't have unions, and make about half of what some unions make.
