CSULB Office of Economic Research Develops Framework for Guaranteed Income Needs in Long Beach

Seiji Steimetz, professor and Chair of the Economics Department at CSULB, interviewed with the Long Beach Post about the role his department played in developing a framework for the guaranteed income initiative in Long Beach.  The initiative will provide a $500 monthly stipend for single parents in the 90813 zip code, the area with the most financial need and where 24% of the population lives below the federal poverty line.
