Bridge to the Beach is a three day transition program for Beach Academy first-year students. The program is designed to help students bridge the gap between high school and college through intentional programming and enrichment activities.

During Bridge to the Beach, students will live on-campus in the residence halls (dorms) and participate in activities that help them learn about the campus culture, academic writing preparation, leadership development, and how to identify resources and services. Bridge to the Beach is also a great way for students to engage and network with other Beach Academy students and build meaningful connections prior to the start of the school year. For more information about Bridge to the Beach go to the frequently asked questions page.

Bridge to the Beach is for First Time First Year Beach Academy students.  Parents, guardians, and guests unfortunately cannot attend.  Let them fly!

Bridge to the Beach will consist of a residential experience, academic workshops, and social enrichment and engagement activities throughout the whole weekend!

Students will live on-campus in the residence halls (TBA) and will be provided with a double occupancy room.  Roommates will be assigned by MAPS.  Students will have access to the dining hall for all meals throughout the weekend.
