Overview
General Safety Notes
All Faculty and Students are expected to abide by all rules and regulations as established in the CINE Policies & Procedures, as well as those established by California State University, Long Beach.
Due to COVID-19, CINE policies, procedures, and access to equipment and facilities have been modified to promote the health and safety of students, staff, and faculty. In response to CDC, WHO, EPA, state, local municipality, and university guidelines, changes to protocols may be required.
Access to Department resources, either in-person or virtually, is a PRIVILEGE, not a RIGHT. Privileges may be SUSPENDED or REVOKED at any time by the Department, if any of the policies outlined in this document, or any other CINE safety document, are violated.
Privileges may be denied or revoked for failure to comply with CINE or University policies. This includes abusive or irresponsible behavior directed at any student, faculty, or staff member, and toward any Department equipment and/or facilities.
Depending upon the severity of the non-compliance, your academic standing within the Department and/or University may be suspended, and academic records withheld until all obligations have been satisfactorily met.
