Success of CSULB Students in Introductory Mathematics and Statistics Courses
Forum 2: College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics - March 21, 2018, 12:00-1:30pm
We will discuss correlations between various freshman admission parameters and success of students in introductory mathematics and statistics courses. We will examine the impacts of ALEKS PPL adaptive placement on completion of ESM program and student success in general education mathematics. Correlations between grades in sequential math courses and major-switching patterns will also be discussed.
