“As one of the most popular undergraduate majors, psychology can prepare students to be successful in many different
careers — from the social sciences to business and beyond.” (American Psychological Association)

Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior.  Psychologists simultaneously seek to understand the commonality as well as the diversity of human experience.

A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology provides solid preparation for students who wish to pursue a career in any field that involves people, including education, business, health care, sports, or community development. It is ideal for individuals who seek an understanding of behavioral principles while pursuing a well- rounded education. This degree is also designed to provide a strong foundation for graduate school, including the three Master’s degree programs offered in the department.
