Research Interests
Prof. Apostol has a background that includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies from San Diego State University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from CSULB. She has been an educator in the child development field working directly with children and families of diverse backgrounds and as a lecturer for the Human Development and Family and Consumer Sciences Departments at CSULB. Prof. Apostol’s research interests include family interactions in multicultural environments, personality development, parenting styles and the effects on children, and children’s development according to birth order in the family.
