Steps for Newly Admitted First-Time, First-Year Students
One of the steps for newly admitted students is to sign up for Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR). Please see below for the College of Business’ First-Time, First-Year SOAR dates. For detailed information about SOAR please visit the SOAR website.

Changing Your Major?
If you are interested in changing your major, please see the instructions relevant to your situation.
Submit your Change of Major Request using our online request form.
Please email us at cob-css@csulb.edu.
Visit the Advising & Registration website for a complete list of majors and advising centers. Submit a change of major request with the advising center for the major you are interested in pursuing. A representative from that advising center will follow up with you regarding your request. Also, contact SOAR to ensure you are signed up for an appropriate SOAR session date – email soar@csulb.edu or call 562.985.5515 for assistance.
