Microporosity plays a crucial role in determining the performance of polymers in gas capture and release applications. However, beyond monomer structure, the factors influencing microporosity remain poorly understood, posing a challenge to the rational design and optimization of these materials. This presentation explores how synthetic strategies influence microporosity and highlights the potential of highly microporous polymers to enhance biomedical applications involving medical gas generation.

Seminars are held on Wednesdays at 4:00pm. All are invited to attend.
