CSULB Facilitated Class Visits

CSULB class visits are facilitated by Museum staff and offer an enriching conversational art experience to CSULB students and faculty across all majors and departments. Class visits include an introduction to the exhibition and information on student programming followed by engagement that focuses on object-based inquiry, close looking, and open-ended questions. We can book up to 40 students at one time. Facilitated class visits can be booked for Monday through Friday any time starting at 9:00am with an end time as late as 4:45pm and last about one hour. Inquiries must be made at least two weeks ahead of the desired visit date. To inquire about a CSULB Facilitated Class Visit, click here.

CSULB Self-Guided Class Visits

CSULB self-guided class visits are facilitated by the visiting faculty member(s). This is a good option for faculty who want to use an exhibition or an artwork as a tool for a class discussion in the gallery. Self-guided class visits are greeted by Museum staff with a short introduction on Museum resources and programming for CSULB students. We can book up to 50 students at one time. Self-guided class visits can be booked for Monday through Friday any time starting at 9:00am with an end time as late as 4:45pm (7:30pm on Thursdays) and can last the length of class time. Inquiries must be made at least two weeks ahead of the desired visit date. To inquire about a CSULB Self-Guided Class Visit, click here.
