Information Session - In-Person: Distant Horizons

Seeking an articulate junior travel coordinator for a tour operating company that specializes in cultural tours to Asia, the Middle East, Africa and more recently programs within the United States. Candidate must be prepared for an entry-level position which includes office assistant duties. Candidates’ main role will be to manage a specific set of programs.

We are a very small office and typically, no two days are the same. An example of what the candidate will be responsible for consists of screening incoming calls with professionalism and enthusiasm then accurately relaying call information to office staff, customer service, office filing, general office tidiness, company errands, research and assisting trip coordinators with various projects such as data entry and mailings.

After a period of time, a successful candidate will be trained to become a trip coordinator, handling trips to a specific part of the world.

Candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent computer and writing skills, have experience traveling overseas and enjoy customer service.
