Major and Career Planning
The choices you make during college will greatly affect your life. Together with the Career Development Center and the Athletic Department, we help you relate educational interests, talents and skills with your major and career goals. Possible paths include pursuing a graduate degree, obtaining full-time employment and/or participating in professional sports.
You can meet individually with a career counselor at the Career Development Center for help with resume writing, interviewing skills, and navigating the job search. We also encourage you to explore on your own the resources available in the Career Development Center, including career planning books, user-friendly computerized guidance programs, resume writing and interviewing information and career placement.
The Athletic Department's Life Skills Coordinator provides programs to prepare juniors and seniors for the challenges of life during and after college athletics and guide them toward their graduation day.
