What fears or anxieties did you have about going to college?

One of my biggest fears was not knowing what I was getting myself into. I would hear from my older friends about their experience and it frightened me. I was afraid of not fitting in, not being able to make friends, or overall just feeling out of place.

The best advice I can give is to not be afraid to ask for help. There are so many resources on campus that you could use. Don’t ever have that fear of feeling like your stuck or not knowing what to do about a situation.

My freshman year I started off as a pre-nursing major. At first I was set on becoming a nurse. Yet, plans changed. Since I work at a pediatrics office I sought more interest in becoming a physician assistant (PA). So I changed my major to health science. In the future I do plan on getting a minor in Spanish. I also plan on receiving my real estate license.

My personal interests are drawing, painting, playing sports (especially softball), going to the gym, love to try new foods, hanging out at the beach, play board games, watching documentaries, love pets.
