Guidelines for Authorized Use of Permit

Receiving and Mail Services is the holder and authorized user of the First Class and Non-Profit permit imprints. A University Department or College may use these permits by obtaining authorization from Receiving and Mail Services. Pre-authorization is vital to maintain the privilege of permit usage by the University.

In addition, permit mailings require coordination with Mail Services to ensure the mailings meet all U.S. Postal Services requirements and that sufficient funds are available for the USPS to process the mailing.
