*After 10/17/2024, the Overflow Parking lot will close, and all overflow permits will function as regular semester parking permits. Permit holders will be able to park on campus, seven days a week, in any area available to the regular Student Permit.

The Overflow Permit is available to CSULB students only.

Additionally, the permit is designed for those students who have daytime class schedules that begin after 8 a.m. and finish before 5 p.m. as these are the times of peak traffic on campus when additional parking capacity needs are the highest.

The last shuttle departs from campus to the Overflow Lot at 5 p.m. If you have classes after this time (Monday-Thursday), we recommend that you purchase a regular Student Semester parking permit and do not purchase the Overflow Lot permit.

Permit recipients will be required to display an Overflow Permit sticker affixed to their campus ID card in order to board the shuttles to/from the Overflow Lot location.

You can pick up your sticker at the Parking Office during normal business hours (Mon.-Fri., 8am-5pm) starting on 8/1/2024. These stickers will also be available in the Overflow Parking Lot during the first week of its operation, 8/26-8/29/2024.
