2020-21 travel policy update

Dear Faculty and Staff:  In light of our ongoing response to the pandemic, as well as budget reductions passed on to the California State University, the CSU has suspended all non-essential international and domestic travel through June 30, 2021.  Under the new guidelines, I must review and approve any proposed exceptions to this policy. Dear Beach Family, Earlier this week, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced that international students will not be allowed to remain in the United States if they are receiving only online or remote instruction. Since March, Cal State Long Beach has been delivering instruction through alternative means, and our plan is to continue to do so for most of our students throughout the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
