"The Balance Between Humans and Animals"
A recent state law requires California to protect and improve wildlife connectivity—increasing the need to assess the effectiveness of landscapes to act as corridors for wildlife as they move through human dominated landscapes. Our research team is working in the Southern Sierra Nevada Foothills to study how various species respond to a variety of landscape features and land management practices. The research sheds light on how species interact with one another and humans.
