Enroll in IB494A Short-term Study Abroad Japan for the Spring 2025

Learn about Japan, its economy, culture, and business practices. Dr. Hieu Nguyen leads the course and there will be eight in-person sessions on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:45pm, followed by a short-term study abroad in Japan, tentatively May 26, to June 5, 2025. All majors, especially IB ones, are welcome, and this course counts as an elective for Marketing majors. The College of Business will provide scholarships for students enrolled in the course, the amount is yet to be determined. Seating is limited on a first-come first-served basis.

IB494A: International Business Perspective - Japan
CSULB’s College of Business offers this international business study of the Japanese business environment, strategies, and practices. In addition to five company visits in Tokyo and Osaka, your package includes hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and some meal accommodations. The course is open to undergraduate students of all majors but space is limited.

10-14 participants - $2,195 &
15-19 participants - $1,885

*Cost is an estimate and does not include flights (round trips from Los Angeles to Tokyo and one way from Tokyo to Osaka). An optional group flight from LAX will be available.
