Welcome to the Comparative Literature Club!
Our statement of purpose:
- To promote literature of various cultures, historical periods, and backgrounds.
- To promote ethical leadership and academic achievement, and to cultivate civic responsibility.
- To provide the students opportunities for association and interaction with the faculty and administration of CSULB and with the members of the community.

- Add an extracurricular activity to your scholarship and graduate school applications.
- Create new friendships with students with different majors, personal experiences, and worldviews.
- Participate in fun, literature-related activities such as writing letters, coloring bookmarks, and watching videos.
- Engage in group reading discussions of diverse texts, from horror short stories to contemporary graphic novels.
- Nominate yourself for a leadership position to organize events, develop team-building skills, and contribute to a growing community.
