Graduate Internship Program
The Thesis and Dissertation Office Internship Program offers English MA/MFA students the opportunity to gain copyediting experience reviewing graduate theses and dissertations for ProQuest publication. Under the guidance of the Thesis Office staff, graduate interns will learn basic formatting principles, various citation styles (APA, Chicago/Turabian, IEEE), CSULB thesis format, and how to use the ProQuest ETD database. Additional benefits include:
Earn 3 units of graduate elective credits for MA/MFA English degree (enroll in ENG 598; up to 6 units of elective credit can be applied towards degree)
Flexible working hours (minimum of 90 hr over entire semester)
Office/workspace in the Library’s graduate study area (2nd floor)
Opportunity for interns to apply for a student assistantship at Thesis Office in the subsequent Spring semester
