My time at Long Beach State was a great learning experience. I was part of the aviation business and recognized the architecture of the school had to do with energy and transportation. I chose to attend Long Beach State because it was a school of convenience and I had family there. I studied sciences, zoology, biology, and ecology of systems. I had a professor, James London, who was very open to subjects and ideas and he had a strong connection with other professors in that field. I also took classes in the arts. I still do volunteer work at the school and am involved with the scholarship program and setting up endowments for students. I learned how to communicate with people in a certain manner to resolve differences. I also learned about the Vietnam War and the political strata at that time. I am still looking for energy systems that facilitate transportation that won't be destroying the environment. I think hydrogen is the future of energy and the solution.
