During my time at Long Beach State, I had the opportunity to interact with people from a variety of backgrounds. We spent a lot of time socializing at the student union between classes. I wasn't a member of any organized clubs, but I did take advantage of the science club that was available. Through the discipline of studying and doing my student work, I was able to mature and learn how to manage my time. My college background helped me to do well in my summer jobs after graduation. I had a few professors and advisors that were instrumental in assisting me while there, such as Mr. Black, my math instructor, and a physics instructor whose name I can't remember. I enjoyed their lectures and the approach to the lab exercises.
