Marnos Lelesi '82

My time at Long Beach State was incredibly valuable and memorable. I was able to take classes in the evening and on the weekends while teaching full-time, and I completed all 28 units in one year. I had some great teachers who prepared me for my position as an administrator. I was even selected as a distinguished alumna for Cal State Long Beach and got to speak at the annual Alumni Banquet. Long Beach State was convenient for me as a married person with two children and a full-time job. I celebrate the diversity of the school and the opportunity it provides for students of all backgrounds to get an education. It is an honor to be part of the Long Beach State family.
