Gradescope for Grading Equity

Ensuring that grading is fair, consistent, and useful for students is one of the great challenges facing faculty today. Gradescope, a feedback and grading platform provided by Turnitin helps faculty ensure a more equitable grading process. In this session, we will:

• Discuss how faculty use Gradescope tools like anonymous grading and adjustable rubrics to ensure grading fairness while providing useful feedback to students on their performance.
• Look at detailed statistics for faculty development.
• Learn how Gradescope can be used to support ungrading and the professional development of TAs and Graders.
