BOSS Program

Founded in 2017, the BOSS program focuses on preparing middle school and high school boys for careers requiring a strong foundation in math, critical thinking, strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. BOSS achieves this through year-round programming designed to provide increased access to mentorship, equipment and the lessons necessary to succeed.

With more than 4,000 students assisted by the program, dozens of BOSS graduates—including CSULB and COE alumni— have already made it through college, in-part thanks to BOSS’s multi-year commitment.

Co-located within the college, BOSS & COE will work together to increase their reach and effectiveness, envisioning a college with representation that mirrors the demographics of the communities we serve.
