College of Engineering 2023 Senior Design Expo
Over the course of two days, at the Pointe @ Walter Pyramid, hundreds of College of Engineering Seniors displayed their senior design projects. For the first time ever, we had everything under one roof, from full-scale liquid rockets to hand-gesture controlled robotic arms to all sorts of creative apps.
Project-based learning has long been a cornerstone at CSULB, and these designs represent hundreds of hours of hands-on work. Seeing their projects go from idea, through various ideations and finally being proudly displayed is proof that by the time they receive their diplomas, they already are engineers.
We are thankful to our Engineering Corporate Affiliates program, which helps fund and mentor these projects. More than 50 leading professionals were on-hand to judge the projects and offer guidance to our seniors, and it was a great seeing how much fun everyone had.
