Daro is an Educational Research Analyst with the Long Beach Unified School District's (LBUSD) Office of Research and School Improvement. Shortly after graduating with his Masters in Public Administration, he began his career at LBUSD and has worked on various initiatives related to district assessments and accountability data. In 2014, he earned his Masters in Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) school counseling credential, which continued to shape his research interests and career path toward supporting students' social and emotional needs by leveraging data and student voice through a more humanistic approach.
