Daniel Schmalen manages teams and projects in the security field with a focus on networks and hybrid architectures. During his 10 years of work experience, he worked in several industries and countries as well as in various different technology stacks and vendors. Some of the projects were for global leading companies such as Lufthansa or Vodafone and some were for industry revolutionary projects like the Access 4.0 project at Deutsche Telekom. Apart from his work duties, he also works as a lecturer for a German university and feeds his YouTube channel with a weekly video about IT security. His passion is to spread the knowledge and attract new people to the IT security field.
