Film & Electronic Arts Department Participates in "Together" CSULB Art Festival 2022
The CSULB Arts Festival 2022 was hosted in the Spring 2022 semester consisting of a series of arts and culture events offered within the College of the Arts. Events in the arts festival included a collection of performances, exhibitions, scholarly discussions, screenings, events, and interdisciplinary work presented and produced by the Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum, the Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center, the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, the School of Art and the departments of Dance, Design, Theatre Arts, and Film & Electronic Arts. The festival was themed around bringing communities together as campus repopulation efforts continue, and our university welcomes our friends and patrons back to CSULB venues.
The Film & Electronic Arts Department was proud to participate in the arts festival by hosting a series of events including: a Stop Motion Animation Class hosted by alums Audrey Sutton & Paula Kiley, our first ever outdoor screening, Gems from the Vault: A Curated Selection of Animation, Documentary, and Narrative Student Films, Screenwriters Take the Stage: A Live Reading from the Writer's Room which included collaborations with actors in the Theatre Arts Department, First Pitch, a pitch competition between production management students, and finally our annual student showcases Full Spectrum: Intermediate Films and Full Spectrum: Documentary and Advanced Narrative Films.
