Dr. Alabi is a Sociology Professor at Orange Coast College. She is the Chair of the Department of Sociology, Ethnic Studies Gender Studies, and Social Justice Studies. Her research covers many areas focused on inequality and vulnerable populations who experience oppression and injustice,
Her most recent work focuses on elder abuse, homelessness, generational poverty, progressive racism, sexism, and exploitation.
