Graduate School Support
Current and prospective CSULB students (including alumni and community members) who have questions about graduate school or the graduate school application process may connect with a member of the Graduate Center team by securing an appointment. In these "Graduate School Support" appointments, prospective students can receive feedback on statements and résumés/CVs, learn ways to secure funding for a graduate education, and talk about ways to stand out to the admissions committee.
Note: The Graduate Center does not offer program-level academic advising for current students (e.g., course registration, course scheduling, graduation requirements). For such advising, contact the department office and/or graduate advisor.
Current CSULB undergraduate and graduate students who have questions about graduate programs and application process (whether at CSULB or elsewhere) are encouraged to use BeachConnect to schedule an appointment using the link below:
You can find instructions on how to book an appointment here.
Prospective CSULB students (including alumni and community members) who have questions about CSULB graduate programs or the CSULB graduate school application process are encouraged to schedule an appointment using the link below:

If you would like your graduate school application materials (statement of purpose, CV/résumé) to be reviewed via email, please submit a Program Materials Feedback form and allow up to 2-3 weeks to receive a response. Note: The Program Materials Feedback service is for well-developed materials, not first drafts. If you need help getting started with your materials, or have questions about what the expectations are, please visit this page on statements of purpose or this page on CVs/résumés.
