Please join the Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship for the first ever Long Beach Augmented Reality (AR) Exhibition in Downtown Long Beach on Sunday, August 8 starting at 12pm!
Over the past two months, more than 25 artists and augmented reality developers have created AR experiences that imagine new ways of visualizing Long Beach's historic past, dynamic present, and limitless future.
Immerse yourself in the world of augmented reality right here in Downtown Long Beach. The Promenade and nearby streets will be filled with interactive AR experiences just for you, so bring your smartphone and get in on the fun! Enjoy live music featuring DJ COOLMIQ and food and drink from local restaurants. Vote on your favorite AR apps and stay for a prize ceremony where $14,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the best AR experiences.
Apostle Incubator
The CSULB Apostle Incubator will resume regular programming Tuesday, August 31st! The Apostle Incubator provides free programming to support entrepreneurs from both the campus AND Long Beach community to pursue their passion and the creation of innovative businesses to help grow the Long Beach economy. The Apostle Incubator is an inclusive environment in which new business ideas are created, nurtured and launched.
