University Ombuds

After forty-five tremendous years of service, Dr. Keith Freesemann retired from California State University, Long Beach on August 30, 2024. 

With his departure, and effective August 30th, 2024, the CSULB Ombuds Office will transition into the CSULB Conflict Resolution process.

The new Conflict Resolution process is being introduced to allow CSULB campus community members to seek assistance with campus matters that are not already being addressed by other campus resources, including the Office of Equity and Compliance, the Faculty Affairs Office, the Staff Human Resources Office, or the Student Conduct Office.
