Course Goals and Student Learning Outcomes
Upon Successful Completion of the course, the student will be able to:

Identify whether the qualities and skills of researchers apply to self. (Lifelong learning – curiosity, initiative)

Investigate careers available to researchers in their discipline and related disciplines. (Information literacy –determine extent of information needed)

Access and evaluate information that will enable the student to identify the work-life qualities and required skills of specific careers. (Information literacy – access & evaluate)

Independently develop and revise an Individual Development Plan that begins with an academic plan and includes extracurricular activities and career development activities supporting a successful career that aligns with their personal values and work style preferences.
