Marvin R. Haney
1956, B.S., Management, CSULB
A 1956 CSULB Alumnus (BS, Business Management), Mr. Haney received the 1972 CSULB Distinguished Alumnus Award. He is a past president of the Alumni Association, and a former board member of both the University Advisory Board (with former President Stephen Horn) and the School of Business Administration, a past president of the National Council on Alcoholism, and a past chairman of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
He is now semi-retired and but still an active partner in The Haney Co. When he is not working Mr. Haney is an avid wood carver and sculptor.
Mr. Haney have been married to his wife Emily for 54 years. The Haney’s love to travel and enjoy spending time with their two children and their families.
This recent photo was taken at age 80 on a recent trip to visit his daughter who lives with her family in Lake Tahoe.
