Thomas A. Reep has an outstanding record of success in the business world. In 1980, Reep, along with his brother and another partner, formed First Consulting Group Inc. (FCG), a company that provides business and information technology solutions to the healthcare, pharmaceutical and life science industries.
Today, FCG is a publicly traded NASDAQ firm with multinational offices and almost 2,000 employees. And Forbes magazine recently named FCG as one of America’s 200 best small companies.
The vice president, finance and chief financial officer for FCG is not the only one in the Reep family with strong ties to CSULB: his wife earned her degree in economics, his father chaired the then-School of Business for five years and taught finance from 1954 until his death in 1970, his mother was the first faculty spouse to receive an M.A. in education and his brother, decreased last year, earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and was the recipient of the college’s first Wall Street Journal Award.
A board member of the Long Beach Symphony for 10 years, Reep enjoys traveling with his family, especially to Paris each year.
