Career Course
The Career Course is a full year program that is designed to educate students about various aspects of the career development process:
- Skills assessment
- Career planning
- Resume and cover letter development
- Networking strategies
- Job fair preparation and more…
Students complete assignments essential to building their professional profile including developing a graduate-level resume and cover letter, conducting an informational interview, attending career fairs, participating in mock interviews, and more.
During the course, recruiters co-facilitate a particular topic to provide diverse perspectives and opportunities to network with employers from various industries.
During the second portion of the Career Course, students still seeking an internship are supported by Graduate Business Career Services by providing time to apply to positions as well as answer career-related questions.
