The Web Council will work in consultation with other campus committees for Web-related matters such as accessibility and procurement. Insights and contributions from members of the Web Council will advise the Vice President & CIO on Web strategies, guidance on the selection and deployment of Web technologies across the campus, and propose recommended campus-wide Web standards.
Priorities
- Develop a long-term CSULB Web service strategic roadmap
- Formulate Web related operational procedures
- Create and maintain a campus-wide Web support structure and website
- Advocate, when and where appropriate, for new Web technologies
