ASI PRODUCTIONS

Video productions interns and volunteers work as a part of the ASI Communications (ASI Comm) team and operate as the multimedia arm of ASI marketing and communication efforts. Successful volunteers and interns are exposed to all areas of television production, including pre- and post-production. Typically, students are matched up with their area of interest (i.e., hosting, camerawork, sound, writing or editing). Students are expected to be able to demonstrate the basic concepts of video production by the end of the semester as evidenced by the completion of one television programming segment, which includes pitching a segment and obtaining approval, taping and editing of a segment and/or program. For more information, visit their webpage at www.asicsulb.org/newsreel.
