Douglas Pace
Douglas Pace, Ph.D., is an associate professor of ecological physiology in the Department of Biological Sciences at Cal State Long Beach.
Pace’s research studies the developmental physiology of marine invertebrates in organismal physiology and biochemistry. Specific topics range from organismal physiology, human physiology, and cellular physiology. As part of a public outreach project, he developed “The Secret Life of Sand Dollars,” to explain the importance of marine organisms and changes in the environments where they live and develop.
Pace holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in biological sciences.
