About President's Associates
For more than 20 years, the President’s Scholarships has been the most prestigious merit-based scholarship available to outstanding high school students in California. Today, the program’s 1,100 alumni are among our most impressive and enthusiastic university ambassadors. From its inception, the program has relied almost entirely on private funding, and its remarkable success stands as a testament to the visionary commitment of our President’s Associates. Members of the President’s Associates, the premier support group for the President’s Scholarships, furnish the crucial support that allows CSULB to recruit top-performing students and to provide these exceptional young people with individualized award packages and with educational experiences of the highest caliber. Presidents Associates receive special benefits, including invitations to events where they can interact directly with President Conoley and with current President’s Scholars. Their generous investments have made the President’s Scholarships one of the university’s most influential and important student-success initiatives, and their sustained support continues to make a powerful difference in the lives of our President’s Scholars — and throughout our campus and community.
President’s Scholars are selected from an elite pool of top-performing students admitted to the University Honors Program and receive financial support in the form of individualized award packages.
