2023 - 2024 Event Highlights
Beach XP and Beach Wellness offered a refreshing break between classes during this Fun Theory event! Free popsicles were passed out while these groups shared essential health and wellness resources to keep students thriving during the semester.
The Shark Lab at CSULB is more than just a research facility; it’s a vibrant community of scientists and students passionate about marine life and conservation. Whether you’re interested in pursuing a career in marine biology or simply want to learn more about these incredible creatures, the Shark Lab offers a unique and engaging experience. Beach XP students were invited to tour the lab and learn more about all its offerings.
The tour of the Anna W. Ngai Alumni Center was the perfect way to explore CSULB's vibrant history, and its role in connecting with alumni. Beach XP students who attended discovered tidbits about CSULB's past and present.
The University Police Department (UPD) offered an empowering self-defense training program designed to equip students with essential skills for personal safety. This hands-on course focused on realistic self-defense techniques and tactics. By participating, students not only learned how to defend themselves, but they also became part of a network of empowered individuals committed to personal and community safety.
