First Monday Supreme Court Preview

The CSULB Legal Studies Program, Political Science Department, and Center for First Amendment Studies are proud to host our sixth annual “First Monday Supreme Court Preview” live in person on Monday, October 7, from 5-6:30 PM, in KIN 049. 

 

There are a number of issues on the Supreme Court's docket this year that are sure to create controversy: issues like LGBTQ rights, consumer protection, gun rights, labor rights, environmental protection, religious liberty and free speech. So, join Dr. Kathryn Perkins, Dr. Jason Whitehead, and Dr. Kevin Johnson as we talk through these issues and more. We’ll do our best to try to help students, faculty, and interested citizens understand better what’s going on in these controversies, and in the Supreme Court more generally. And we will also answer your questions.
