FandangObon- Interactive Performance & Presentation with Music and Dance

This interactive performance and presentation is free and open to all. The presentation is rooted in culturally based sustainability practices from across the world. FandangObon includes music and dance from Japanese Obon, Afro-Indigenous & Mexican son jarocho/fandango, and West African communities. The CSULB Community drum will share a round dance song.
The event is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts Scholarly Intersections Grant and the Department of Chicano Latino Studies, the Department of Asian and Asian American Studies, the Department of Religious Studies, The Chicano Latino Studies Student Association, the Nikkei Student Union, and Great Leap.
