Minimum Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field to teach undergraduate courses; Ph.D. in Civil Engineering to teach graduate courses
- Evidence of effective teaching experience in Civil Engineering
- Expertise and/or commitment to educating a diverse student population
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Civil Engineering work experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the following Civil Engineering areas:
- Surveying and Mapping
- Materials
- Fluids laboratory
- Structural
- Transportation
- Construction
- Geographic Information System
- Environmental
