LINO CHEANG

Lino Cheang has 36 years of geotechnical and earthquake engineering experience while providing foundation design services for nearly 1,000 new, replaced, and widened structures for various transportation and public works agencies. These structures include railroad bridges, major water crossings, long viaducts, and over/under crossings at major interchanges. In addition to bridge foundations, he has expertise with retaining walls, sound walls, roadway embankments, and pavement structural sections.

Mr. Cheang has developed a strong familiarity with state (Caltrans) and federal transportation structure design philosophies and guidelines. He earned his MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, and is a registered Civil and Geotechnical Engineer in California.
