Launch of the CSULB BME Alumni-Student Mentoring Program
In our continuous effort to provide comprehensive support to our students, we have launched an alumni-student mentoring program. Nearly 30 of our undergraduate students have been matched with 15 successful alumni from our program for professional advising and mentorship. This initiative provides our students with the opportunity to learn about industry or graduate schools directly from our accomplished alumni and receive valuable advice on resume preparation. We extend our gratitude to our alumni mentors: Oubai Alrawi (Applied Medical), Michael Evan Azarie (Intuitive), Jessica Blair (Edwards Lifesciences), Adam Corbett (Avante Health Solutions), Christian Hernandez (University of Pennsylvania), Heather Claire Latham (Vyaire Medical), Kimberly Mellick (BioSig Technologies, Inc.), Keith Naqvi (Medical School), Thaotho Nguyen (UC Irvine), Tyler Romero (Amgen), Nia Sanchez (Medtronic) and Emmanuel Torres (Kaiser Permanente).
