SCPD Awards Banquet 2019

Over 200 students, mentors, & staff attended the 11th Annual SCPD Awards Banquet on May 10, 2019 at The Grand in Long Beach. Plus over $2,000 raised in SCPD's first Silent Auction.

The Awards Banquet presented certificates and medallions to the largest graduating Corporate Mentoring Program (CMP) class to date; including 118 students. Acknowledged the CMP Leadership Retreat Presentation (The Clean Dream) and Commercial (All You Can Gym) winning teams. Awarded scholarships to the Professional Excellence Award (Theresa Chacon) and Director's Award (Joshua Pham) recipients. In addition to awarding the Mentor of the Year (Brian Chou) for his continuous support to the SCPD Programs.

The Silent Auction was sponsored by Angels Baseball, Boathouse on the Bay, Bo-Beau Kitchen + Rooftops, Carpenter Performing Arts Center, CrossFit Beach Fitness, Howard Fletcher, Jennifer Anderson, Los Angeles Chargers, Momentum Chiropractic, Pakers' Lighthouse, Polly's Pies, Pure Sugar, Ra Yoga, Rubio's Coastal Grill, Steve & Nancy Yoho, Steve Lindholm, The Pacific Inn, Timothy Selchau, Total Wine & More, Woody Sides, and Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studios, Long Beach.

The next CMP class will begin their journey in August 2019, and the 12th Annual SCPD Awards Banquet is scheduled for May 15, 2020.
